Types Of Facial Surgeries

Forehead and Brow Lift
A brow lift is one of the simplest and most effective paths to a more youthful, ageless you. It’s a simple procedure that reduces the lines in the forehead and the bridge of the nose that make us look older than we feel.

And the sagging eyebrows just above the upper eyelid that make us look tired or angry? That’s fixed, too.

Steps to a More Youthful Appearance
First, Dr. Haas will study every aspect of your individual appearance. Then, he’ll suggest either intravenous sedation or general anesthesia for the surgery. Either way, you’ll be comfortable and relaxed.

During the procedure, small incisions are made within the hairline, and the skin of the forehead is gently lifted. The best part? No visible scars.

Then, the incision will be closed with the utmost care using clips and surgical tape, ensuring that the incision closes properly.

You’ll notice the results immediately, and so will everyone around you. You’ll look younger, more energetic, and refreshed.

Gentle Recovery
Healing generally takes around two weeks. There will be some minor swelling, which will disappear as the incisions fade. You can even go back to work in as little as two weeks.

Asian Eyelid Surgery
Asian eyelid surgery is an incredibly popular procedure. In fact, it’s the most common procedure performed in South Korea. About 50 percent of the Asian population is born without a natural crease in their eyelid. Asian eyelid surgery simply creates that crease.

The procedure was first documented in Japan in the 19th century. Of course, the methods used at the time were less than advanced. Over the years, the procedure has evolved. Asian eyelid surgery is now a fast, safe, and effective means to creating a more balanced and natural look.

The innovations in the procedure have led to its being an incredibly intricate process. In its early days, a simple crease was created on the eyelid. The results were too often inconsistent. Today, a detailed and nuanced knowledge of many factors enter into the process.

Your skin tone, your personal cosmetic goals, and the anatomy of your eyelids will all determine the best way to proceed. Dr. Haas will study your individual appearance, listen to your needs, and work out a course of action with you. When the procedure is complete, you’ll have a more defined crease, creating a more beautiful and radiant gaze while maintaining your personal and cultural identity.

Mens Cosmetic Surgery
There’s nothing like the confidence that comes from knowing we look good. For professional men, that may simply mean looking more youthful and rested. That confidence shows in the office, in our social lives, and at home. It will be noticed by our colleagues, by our family, and by our friends. You may not need anything drastic, but luckily a little can go a long way. A wrinkle softened, an eyelid tightened, an eyebrow lifted, and we’re well on our way to looking better, seeing better, and living better.

How We Can Help
It’s simple: Botox melts away the lines in the forehead that make us look older than we feel. A brow lift does the same, and also eliminates lines in the bridge of the nose and the sagging eyebrows that make us look tired or angry. It also minimizes crow’s feet around the eyes. Blepharoplasty does the same by reinforcing the supporting structures around our eyes. The effect is subtle but powerful, infusing you with a fresh vitality that will be noticed. They say men, like wine, only get better with age. That may be true, but tipping the scales a little bit never hurt.

Blepharoplasty Surgery
They say your eyes are a window into you. What do your eyes say? If your eyelids are puffy or sagging, they may be saying that you’re tired or angry, even if you feel relaxed and rested.

Blepharoplasty is a procedure that helps you convey that relaxed and rested feeling through more vibrant eyes.

What are the causes of sagging or puffy eyelids?
Causes for sagging or puffy eyelids vary. It can be hereditary, or it can be environmental – something as simple as sun damage can cause your eyelids to sag. It can also result from chronic allergies, heavy smoking, or other medical conditions.

Most often, it’s simply the result of aging. A fibrous ligament behind your eyelids grows weaker as you age. As it grows weaker, the fatty tissue behind it pushes that fibrous ligament forward, which in turn pushes your eyelids down and out, causing the sagging and puffy look.

Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty
Cosmetic eyelid surgery, sometimes referred to as blepharoplasty, can be can be performed on the upper and lower eyelids. The procedure involves removing excess skin and removing or redistributing the fatty material behind the skin so that it doesn’t push forward on the eyelids. The result is simple: your eyes become a mirror for how you truly feel, and the days of looking tired or angry are left behind.

Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty
Lower eyelid blepharoplasty is performed on the lower eyelids. Like upper lid blepharoplasty, the procedure involves removing excess skin and tightening the structures that support the lower eyelid, or sometimes just removing excessive fat from an incision behind the eyelid. When all is said and done, the wrinkles around the eye are smoothed and bags under the eyes are a thing of the past.

Benefits
Blepharoplasty isn’t merely cosmetic. There are also direct benefits to your vision. In all, the benefits are many:

Improved field of vision
A brighter, more refreshed appearance
Removal of bags under the eyelid
Fine wrinkles on the lower eyelids are smoothed
Improved symmetry between the left and right eyelids

Recovery
Immediately after the surgery, you will experience some bruising and soreness around your eyes, but recovery is swift in most cases. Most professional can be back to work one week after surgery.
